New Arrivals

Hello all! Long time no post, things here have been busy busy busy, but so much the better!

Today I wanted to introduce a couple of out new arrivals from Ireland, the first a rather special lady who is the great-great-great-great grand-daughter of Northern Dancer! Her name is Blue Jay and we are expecting great things of this girl. She has already been out competing in young horse classes in Ireland, and she has a wonderful movement on the flat. Her schooling will begin in earnest soon, for now we are just taking it easy and settling her in to her new home, but so far she is very promising. Blue Jay will be a lovely ride for experienced people, especially riders who would like to try our new cross country course!

Next up is another girl with exceptional breeding, introducing Slow Joy by Cavalier Jump for Joy - a stunning Irish stallion who needs no introduction. Slow Joy has inherited her fathers great looks and trainable temperament, so we are really looking forward to working with her. So far we have not popped her over a jump, when we do you will be the first to know how it goes! Hacking out she is wonderful, forward going, obedient to the aids and super comfortable. She's still a baby so still a bit green but with her wonderful temperament we have so far only seen great things from this mare.

'Let's Go!'

Our new arrivals, as well as our old favourites, are all waiting to take you on your fairytale horse riding experience here at La Fiaba in Tuscany =)
